Puppy Basics
The Puppy Basics course is designed for puppy’s under 10 months old. In this 4 week course your puppy will learn skills including: Sit, Down, Leave it, Come, Loose Leash Walking, Calm Greetings, No Jumping, Go to Bed, Recall, Stay, and More!
Along with teaching your puppy the skills they’ll need to be a great member of the family, we also cover other puppyhood needs like Potty Training, Nipping, Barking, Crate Training, Socialization, Appropriate Play with humans and other dogs, and more!
This course includes one in home, hour long private lesson a week. In addition to your private lessons you will receive instructional videos and written instructions. Each week I will email you with a recap of what we went over in our lesson and what your homework for the week is.

Adult obedience
The Adult Obedience obedience course is designed for dogs over the age of 10 months old. This 4 week course covers the same behaviors as the Puppy Basics including: Sit, Down, Leave it, Come, Loose Leash Walking, Calm Greetings, No Jumping, Go to Bed, Recall, Stay, and More!
In addition to covering all these basics, we will also cover any problem behaviors you’ve encountered and how to manage them like Severe Leash Pulling, Reactivity, Counter Conditioning, Reconditioning from Fear, and Off Leash Walking.
This course includes one in home, hour long private lesson a week. In addition to your private lessons you will receive instructional videos and written instructions. Each week I will email you with a recap of what we went over in our lesson and what your homework for the week is.

Service Dog Task Training and Public Access
One of our missions at Cosmic Dog is to provide low-cost training for working dogs. Training will be provided in-home, at our private location in Moodus, or in a rented room at a training center in Manchester. Each hour long private lesson will be charged at less than 50% of an average hour long session.
Tasks commonly taught to Service Dogs include but are not limited to: Pressing handicap door buttons, Pressing elevator door buttons, Calling 911 by activating an emergency alert system, Blood Sugar alert and shaping, Seizure alert shaping, Cortisol alert and shaping, Pulling open doors/cabinets/fridges, turning on/off lights, Retrieving items by name shoes/phone/keys/glasses, Medication retrieval, Helping to pull socks/jackets/pants off, Picking up dropped items, Nudging fallen arms/legs back onto wheel chair, Nightmare waking, Interrupting self harm or stimming behaviors, Deep Pressure Therapy, Body Block, and many more.

Single Lesson in Home
A single in-home private lesson will last one hour. This lesson can be catered to exactly what your dog needs! We will communicate prior to the lesson to ensure I can maximize the value in the time we have. If I get there and you’ve decided we need to work on something new, that’s fine too! This lesson is what ever you want it to be!

Reactivity Reset
Reactivity Reset Private Lessons are open to dogs of all ages who have undesirable reactions to stimuli. Reactivity Reset is a 4 week course that will include behavioral evaluation to determine why your dog has become reactive and the best course of action to calm their fears. Over the 4 weeks we will guide your dog in making better choices and how to communicate their concerns safely. Common reactivity triggers include but are not limited to: sounds like fireworks, trucks, gunshots, and falling pans. Visuals like children, adults, other dogs, birds, small animals, strollers, cars, and sunglasses. No matter what your dog is reacting to, we can work to build their confidence and calm their fears with games that will have them enjoying life again.
